As part of their ongoing practice, Ian and Nadiah create spaces for movement, expression, storytelling and connection through dance, mentorship and exchange.
Grounded in Krump and freestyle practices, RASA’s facilitation approach encourages participants to reconnect with themselves and their creativity through movement. Their workshops and programs are centred on creating environments where people feel seen, supported and free to explore their individuality.
Their experience spans across community programs, schools, studios, festivals, youth spaces, theatre developments and cultural initiatives - facilitating for people of varying ages, backgrounds and experience levels across Australia and internationally. Individually, Ian and Nadiah have facilitated, taught and collaborated with organisations and communities including The Spot Perth, R.U.R. Alliance, Moomba Festival, Jungle City Studios, OWLKEYME, Ascendant Dance Company, O2 Studios, The Society Academy, Immersive Trip, Bandyup Women's Prison, Armed For Life, City of Fremantle, City of Ellenbrook, City of Bayswater and Leading Youth Forward.
RASA’s practice moves fluidly between artistic development, community engagement and personal development, offering spaces that range from open movement sessions and freestyle foundations to performance development, creative mentorship and culturally driven workshops.
